Jen's Reviews
This month is going to be crazy for me! Exams are on their way, and yet, my TBR pile keeps growing... Here's what I got this week! I definitely have enough books to last me the entire summer.. EEP. Can't wait. :)

Thanks to St. Martin's Press, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Atria Books, Egmont USA, Netgalley, and Edeweiss! <3
Library: (I'm going to be returning some of these unread, just watch)
WHEWWWEE. Library books are actually the worst though because you're not spending any money at all so you just GRAB ALL OF THEM. It's a problem... What book should I read first?
Happy reading,
Jen xx
... SO MUCH AWESOMENESS!!! Jen, this is making me really really happy, like some chocolate buffet muahahha :D I'd say READ ALL OF EM, but if I really had to recommend, I'll say read The Program (so many raving reviews!!), For Darkness Shows the Stars (everyone keeps telling me how great it is) and Black City (because I loved it!). Honestly, THIS IS THE BEST SUNDAY SHOWCASE EVERRR!! *HUGS* Happy Reading!

Wow! What a great library. I read The Obsidian Mirror recently. Its pretty good, complex and mysterious. Its a story about time travel if you like that kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat Haul, so many books. When it comes to my TBR pile I can't help my self, it gets larger everyday. Through to you, Starstruck and The Program all look great. Happy Reading :)

Wow Jen, this is one heck of a haul. I do that all the time, take loads of books out of the library and then have to give them back as someone else has requested them :( I can't wait for you to start The Program it sounds fantastic! Also Reunited, I so need a road trip book soon! Hope you enjoy all your pretties! :)
ReplyDeleteWow... so many good books! Read Venom or For Darkness Shows the Stars... I want to read both of those!
ReplyDeleteFalse Memory, The Waiting Sky, and Love and Other Perishable Items are all fantastic. Live Through This is one I recently picked up myself and am eagerly looking forward to beginning soon. Enjoy your haul, Jen! :)
ReplyDeleteSO. MUCH. AWESOME. A TON of great books, Jen!!! I've never heard of All Our Pretty Songs, but just looked at the summary and WOW that sounds so good. Can't wait to see what you'll write about that.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous haul Jen!
ReplyDeleteI have Level 2 and Black City too which I haven't read.
BUT OMG OMG THIS GIRL. IT WAS AMAZING AMAZING. THAT ENDING <33333333 I couldn't hold out not knowing when it would be on NG so I bought it the Tuesday it was released and finished it in 1 night! It was sooooooooo good.
I really want to read For Darkness Shows the Stars too.
Happy reading!
I hope you get to Love and Perishable items, it's a great Aussie YA book! And I am reading For Darkness now - it's good!

SO many books! Your library looks awesome; much better than mine. I really like the look of Reunited
ReplyDeleteCait x
Ah so many good books! I haven't read any these but I'm trying to obtain a copy of Love and Other Perishable Items because it looks AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about libraries, it's a love/hate situation really. Enjoy your books! :)
Girl, I think you have a BIT of a problem with library books, haha. Although, don't we all? ;) I totally agree about how they're the worst- because you're like, "They're freeeee!" and then you proceed to grab all of them. I feel ya, girl.
ReplyDeleteBut anyways, I've heard some really great things about The Program so far, actually. Someday Maybe, Maybe also sounds fantastic. Also, I think you'll enjoy False Memory and Venom. Both are so good! I have copies of Black City and Level 2 that I seriously need to pick up soon. And I've heard aaaaawesome things about For Darkness Shows the Stars. Seriously, I'm surprised I haven't gotten that book yet, seeing that cover is absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention Through to You's cover!! I think my library actually just got a copy of that one, so I'll be snatching it up soon. ;)
Anyways, good luck with exams this month, Jen (I TOTALLY feel your pain), and I hope you manage to read all your awesome library books! <3
I can relate to the library thing! It is so tempting to take so many free books as humanely possible.. but then we have to give them back *sob* :(
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I really want to read The Program and Black City. Level 2 is quite good - not the best, but still good. Happy reading, Jen <3
Wowza, so many amazing books here!
ReplyDeleteMy Showcase Sunday :)
Oh, wow, Jen, you have some really amazing reads here. It's understandable that you'll return some of those library books, but please PLEASE don't return Love and Other Perishable Items without reading it. I love that book!
ReplyDeleteYour library has a good selection, Jen! I would start with Darkness Shows the Stars and Black City. I've heard good things about both. I also got This Girl and I hope we both love it! Enjoy your reads, Jen. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! So many awesome books :D I enjoyed Level 2 a lot. <3 Hope you will enjoy them all sweetie ;) They sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting on my blog. <3

Ahhhh Jen! I hope you return For Darkness Shows the Stars having read it, it was one of my favorite reads last year! So good:) I'm dying to get my hands on Across a Star-Swept Sea! I've heard The Program is awesome as well, so I'll be looking for your review of that one! Enjoy all these:)
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing books! Catherine Fisher is lovely, I met her earlier this year! Can't wait to see what you think of Obsidian Mirror.
