Welcome to A Reading Daydreamer! Thank you for stopping by and we hope you take the time to read through the blog. We're assuming you clicked on this page in order to find out more about A Reading Daydreamer so please read on…
A Reading Daydreamer was started in January 2012 after more than a year of stalking reading other AMAZING book blogs. Beverley was in awe of these wonderful blogs and after a busy New Year she thought, ‘Hey, why don’t I make my own, it seems fun!’ Massive thanks must go the lovely author Luisa Plaja who runs the BEST teen book blog, Chicklish. Beverley's reviewing ‘career’ was established over at Chicklish and really was the final push she needed to set up A Reading Daydreamer!
But what about the girls behind it all?
Beverley is the original blogger behind ARD. She is a 1516-year-old British-Chinese girl and lives in the UK with her parents and a pesky little chihuahua called Alfie. Reading has been a life-long hobby for her and she has enjoyed it since she was little. Her mum can be thanked for instilling this passion in Her: she took Beverley to the library frequently to listen to the storytelling sessions and to borrow books.
Apart from reading, Beverley's other main hobby is music. She plays the piano and violin (both typically Asian >.<). As for sports, she is hopeless. Team sports are a no-go for her: she hates the feeling that when you fail, everyone else fails with you. She much prefers a relaxing game of badminton. She also enjoys dancing and goes every week with a friend, it’s much more fun than sport.
It has been a lifelong dream to publish a book. (Is it just me, or are all readers budding writers as well?) However, an ambition that has stood just as long is to study vet medicine at university. Beverley would love to work with animals, and thinks it would be great fun!
Beverley is currently on hiatus.

Jen was the blogger over at The Dancing Reader and joined A Reading Daydreamer in August 2012. She is currently a high school student in the US and trying to stay alive. She is a lover for all things ballet, glitter, nail polish, and fictional boys.
Some of her favorite books are:
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness
Nice to meet you! :)
