Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It's where you meet other book bloggers and share the follower love. A question is also asked every week.
Q: Activity! Dreamcast your current read.
I'm currently reading The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente. I'm not very far into it yet so I'll just choose a cast for September, the Green Wind and the 'small and amiable dog'.
Bailee Madison (September):
Isn't she cute? Personally, I think she would make a very good September; she seems to have the cheekiness and curiosity which the role requires!
Wes Bentley (The Green Wind):
The Green Wind is quite charismatic and charming so far in the book so I'm sure Wes Bentley would fit in the role.
Alfie (the small and amiable dog!):
The 'small, amiable dog' only has a very minor part at the start of the book but I'm sure my dog, Alfie could pull it off. He's small and he can be amiable (just don't disturb him when he's asleep!). For those of you who don't know, Alfie is also our resident 'Sniffer Pup', click HERE to find out more :)

Just thought I'd let you know that I will be back from my hiatus on Wednesday! My last exam is on Tuesday and then I have a whole week to just chill before going back to school so remember to look out for me! I'll be trying to blog more regularly and catch up on the reviews that I need to write.
Don't forget to drop by tomorrow: the Straight to Heaven blog tour is stopping here and the author has written a lovely guest post for me to share with you. And did I mention that there's a giveaway for an iPod as well...
Happy reading,
Beverley x

I haven't heard of this book, but I love the title. I thought that Wes Bentley did a great job as Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteOld follower. :-) Our FF
OOh interesting cast! Not familiar with that book, but oh my I do like this Wes Bentley!

Oh my gosh, Bev, just when I thought this question couldn't get any better, you cast THE DOG! I adore & adore & adore that so much! :') The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making is on my TBR list, so I'll be really looking forward to reading your review or seeing you rate it on Goodreads (because I like to follow you there too <3). Bailee Madison is ABSOLUTELY cute! I remember her from when she played Maxine in Wizards of Waverly Place and she was so adorable LOL x)
ReplyDeleteI looooove your mini-cast so much, Bev! And I'm really glad that your hiatus is coming to an end soon so I can see your awesome posts more often, but for now, I hope you do AMAZING on your last exam! :) <3
Aw, I love the dog! And the rest of the cast is very nice to LOL. New follower! My Follow
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a cute dog! And I heard this book is great! It sounds like one that would be fun to read aloud to the kids so I may have to get it in the future.
ReplyDeleteLove your casting!
Thanks for stopping by! Following you :)
This book is so high on my to be read list. I need it so much! I used to not like Bailee (or her character in Wizards of Waverly Place) but she did SUCH a good job on Once Upon A Time I'm completely sold on her in any project.
ReplyDeleteMy follow friday. Please visit!
Hopping through. Good luck on your exams! Study hard this weekend.
