Alfie the Sniffer Pup is a monthly feature here on A Reading Daydreamer where I spotlight exciting upcoming releases and book-ish news which my pup, Alfie has kindly 'sniffed' out for me!
Wow. We're into the last month of 2012!!! This year has gone by super quick but I'm looking forward to seeing what new books 2013 will bring.
It's super cold over here and I sense that snow will soon be making an appearance so why don't you join me in drinking hot chocolate and picking up one of these pretty releases?

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Love and Other Perishable Items by Laura Buzo
The Friday Society by Adrienne Kress

Which books are you looking forward to this month?
Happy reading,

Oooh, another awesome edition of this feature! Love and Other Perishable Items is SO GOOD! I read the original, Australian version and...I loved it. It's one of my favorites! :) I can't WAIT for Opal to release, or The Darkest Minds since I've been hearing great things about it. I think those two are definitely my most anticipated releases the upcoming month! :D
ReplyDeleteFalling Kingdoms! I feel like I have been waiting for this one for ages. The darkest mind sounds really good and I heard great things about The friday society.
ReplyDeleteOpal! I can't wait to get my hands on it - there isn't long left to go now either! I can't believe it's the last month of the year now. It's insane how fast time flies by in the blogging world. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, hello there Alfie! You're as cute as always!! ;) Aaaah, I'm in love with the title and the cover of Chasing Jupiter! The blurb sounds very original too, I can't wait to read it! :) Love and Other Perishable Items has such adorable cover! I have the Australian version so maybe I should squeeze time to read it! <3 The Girl in the Wall sounds very disturbing. Opal! I know that a lot of people have been waiting forever for that one! x) Yay for December books! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting these, Beverley (and Alfie of course;))! I still need to read a Jennifer L. Armentrout book, everyone is raving about Opal. The cover for Love and Other Perishable Items has such a nice cover! I loved Significance so I'm really excited about Independence. Perfect books for Christmas :D
ReplyDeleteDefinitely OPAL!!! I can't wait for more Daemon! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow. End of 2012. I can't believe 2013 is upon us already!! Also, pretty please send some of your cold weather this way? It's scorching hot in Aus!
ReplyDeleteI lovelovelove Laura Buzo!! Good Oil is amazing (aka the Aussie title of Love and Other Perishable Items) as is Holier Than Thou, she's definitely a fave contemp author. The Darkest Minds sounds RIDICULOUSLY good, ditto with Falling Kingdons, and I love the girl power I'm sensing from Friday Society :D
Bye bye for the year, Alfie!! I hope Bev is kind and lets you have lots of doggy treats this Christmas!
I can't believe it's December already! Love and Other... is good, so I hope you both get a chance to read it and I like the look of Chasing Jupiter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to adorable Alfie!
Urghhh December already?! NOOOOOOO! This means my Uni results will be out:( NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Darkest Minds and it's pretty interesting :) AND FALLING KINGDOMS. I NEED SOME AWESOME FANTASYYYY!!! heheeee
