Waiting on Wednesday is a fabulous meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine! It's a wonderful chance to share the books I'm eagerly anticipating and to find out what my fellow bloggers are looking forward to reading!

THEY GET EVEN.
Lillia has never had any problems dealing with boys who like her. Not until this summer, when one went too far. No way will she let the same thing happen to her little sister.
Kat is tired of the rumours, the insults, the cruel jokes. It all goes back to one person– her ex-best friend– and she's ready to make her pay.
Four years ago, Mary left Jar Island because of a boy. But she's not the same girl anymore. And she's ready to prove it to him.
Three very different girls who want the same thing: sweet, sweet revenge. And they won't stop until they each had a taste.
[summary taken from Goodreads]
So so so desperate to get my hands on this! The revenge theme seems to be getting increasingly popular in YA fiction and I'm absolutely LOVING the US drama, Revenge - anyone else watching it over here in the UK? I enjoyed reading Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty and I've heard good things abut Siobhan Vivian's books so I'm curious to see what these two authors have come together to produce!
What are you waiting on today?

ReplyDeleteTHREE AWESOME AUTHORS IN ONE BOOK?! Count me in! ;) Great pick! :D
ReplyDeleteMy WoW
OMG this looks and sounds amazing! For some reason, we find the cover reminding us of Charlie's Angels (o_O Is that weird?) We totally smell sweet, SWEET drama, though. Adding to our TBR-list pronto!
ReplyDeleteWe love your blog, by the way! <3
I'm both nervous and really excited for this one! I'm nervous because revenge plots are really hit or miss with me, but excited because I've heard amazing things about these authors but haven't read anything they've written. I think excited will win out and I'm going to have to give this one a try, fantastic pick Beverley!
ReplyDeleteOh well! That for sure sounds interesting :) I'll be adding it to my list certainly and the revenge theme is intriguing. Great pick, thanks for sharing Bev <3

I can't wait for this book either, I adore Jenny Han's books, I still have to pick up something by Vivian, but I have a feeling I will love this book too! Great pick Beverley! :)
ReplyDeleteI really loved The List, which Siobhan Vivian wrote. It was such a fabulous contemporary read! So I'm seriously excited to pick up Burn For Burn, even though I haven't read anything by Jenny Han yet. I haven't read a revenge book before, and I can already tell that I'm going to love it. It just seems amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous pick, Beverley! <3

I hear SO much about the show, Revenge. Everyone seems to love it, so maybe I ought to check it out? DEFINITELY want to check this book out, because it sounds deliciously good and I want/need more contemporaries on my reading pile :D
ReplyDeleteI'm anxious for this one too, especially after reading Sam's review. I have Jenny Han's Summer books (I still need to read them) and everyone raves about those. Great pick Beverly. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! I haven't watched Revenge, but my mum really likes it, hahahahha! I think I will check Revenge out though, since it reminds me of Pretty Little Liars (which I love) and I'm looking for TV shows to watch on my holidays (:
ReplyDeleteI really want this book also! It looks really good! :D
ReplyDeleteYou watch Revenge too???? Oh my gosh, Bev, that's reason a million and ten why I love you and how we're so similar!! :') I have no idea how far you are (have you watched the season finale yet?? *cries*), but it's safe to say that I ADORED Daniel in the beginning and Emily/Amanda is just so amazingly devious! I'd love to see her as the protagonist of an amazing book ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I actually have a copy of this on my shelf right now! As soon as I finish reading it, I'll come to you first about how much I loved it so you can get a heads up of the awesome! Both Jenny and Siobhan are great authors, and I'm sure this is going to be a GREAT book! <3
Amazing pick for your WOW this week, Bev! I hope you have a wonderful day! :)
LOL, like Mimi above, I watch Revenge too and like it, Beverley! <3 My sister and I can't stop watching it! Although I think my sister enjoyed it even far more than I, given she's the biggest fan of Gossip Girl (I just got carried away LOL)! x)
ReplyDeleteBurn for Burn sounds like such a good book! I adore the cover, very lovely! <3 I can't wait to read this either, Beverley! Hopefully we both will enjoy reading it later! ;)
