Waiting on Wednesday #3

Waiting on Wednesday is a fabulous meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine!  It's a wonderful chance to share the books I'm eagerly anticipating and to find out what my fellow bloggers are looking forward to reading!

Burn for BurnBIG GIRLS DON'T CRY...
THEY GET EVEN.

Lillia has never had any problems dealing with boys who like her. Not until this summer, when one went too far. No way will she let the same thing happen to her little sister.

Kat is tired of the rumours, the insults, the cruel jokes. It all goes back to one person– her ex-best friend– and she's ready to make her pay.

Four years ago, Mary left Jar Island because of a boy. But she's not the same girl anymore. And she's ready to prove it to him.

Three very different girls who want the same thing: sweet, sweet revenge. And they won't stop until they each had a taste.
[summary taken from Goodreads]

So so so desperate to get my hands on this!  The revenge theme seems to be getting increasingly popular in YA fiction and I'm absolutely LOVING the US drama, Revenge - anyone else watching it over here in the UK?  I enjoyed reading Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty and I've heard good things abut Siobhan Vivian's books so I'm curious to see what these two authors have come together to produce!

What are you waiting on today?

Don't forget to enter my 270 Followers Giveaway (INT) - a chance for you to walk away with a book from your wishlist! :D

Happy reading,
Beverley xxx

  3. OMG this looks and sounds amazing! For some reason, we find the cover reminding us of Charlie's Angels (o_O Is that weird?) We totally smell sweet, SWEET drama, though. Adding to our TBR-list pronto!
We love your blog, by the way! <3

  4. I'm both nervous and really excited for this one! I'm nervous because revenge plots are really hit or miss with me, but excited because I've heard amazing things about these authors but haven't read anything they've written. I think excited will win out and I'm going to have to give this one a try, fantastic pick Beverley!

  11. I really loved The List, which Siobhan Vivian wrote. It was such a fabulous contemporary read! So I'm seriously excited to pick up Burn For Burn, even though I haven't read anything by Jenny Han yet. I haven't read a revenge book before, and I can already tell that I'm going to love it. It just seems amazing!

Such a fabulous pick, Beverley! <3

  23. Great pick! I haven't watched Revenge, but my mum really likes it, hahahahha! I think I will check Revenge out though, since it reminds me of Pretty Little Liars (which I love) and I'm looking for TV shows to watch on my holidays (:

  25. You watch Revenge too???? Oh my gosh, Bev, that's reason a million and ten why I love you and how we're so similar!! :') I have no idea how far you are (have you watched the season finale yet?? *cries*), but it's safe to say that I ADORED Daniel in the beginning and Emily/Amanda is just so amazingly devious! I'd love to see her as the protagonist of an amazing book ;)

And I actually have a copy of this on my shelf right now! As soon as I finish reading it, I'll come to you first about how much I loved it so you can get a heads up of the awesome! Both Jenny and Siobhan are great authors, and I'm sure this is going to be a GREAT book! <3

Amazing pick for your WOW this week, Bev! I hope you have a wonderful day! :)
